Conductive Education School Kuwait (CESK)

Conductive Education is a complex rehabilitation/ teaching system. Conductive Education utilizes structures and strategies to break down the curriculum and daily living functions into achievable, age appropriate learnable stages. The curriculum set out and is delivered in an integrated manner.

The learning curriculum at Conductive Education School Kuwait is unique in that it powerfully links academic subjects with true preparation for life.

The foundation of our beliefs and achievements are that we work in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust among students, teachers, and parents.

Conductive Education programs are unified and integrated which means the programs encompass the child/adult’s every function and first and foremost facilitates active conscious participation and problem solving in every aspect of life.

During these programs we are aiming to help to develop the person’s unique problem solving methods. These methods are not always conventional but may well be orthofunctional for that person. This path leads towards active functioning and personal ownership of his actions.

    Orthofunction is the ability:
  • To transform one’s life
  • To shape one’s perception
  • To direct one’s own thinking process, one’s own behaviour
  • To make things work for one not against one

"To define human needs and fulfil them: both one’s needs and the needs of other people"

J. Szathmary 1996

Our belief is nurturing each student to achieve his/her full potential in awareness, spirituality, character development, self-direction, in self-motivated learning, understanding and appreciating each other, contributing to society, as well as in problem solving and academics. We encourage self-expression, confidence, creativity, fun, and determination.

The basis of our philosophy can be summed up as “High expectations with just the right amount of facilitation to succeed in a dynamic, highly structured caring environment in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect”.

Our students thrive on the rich, engaging and integrated curriculum of the following subjects.
