The towns both within and bordering the New Forest, such as Ringwood, Brockenhurst, Beaulieu and Christchurch reflect different aspects of this rich heritage, and can provide entertaining and informative day trips for the family. Neighbouring the Forest along the South Coast, Southbourne, Boscombe and Bournemouth beaches are among some of the finest in the country and are all located within easy driving distance of the centre. Wightlink ferries operate frequent services to the Isle of Wight from Lymington (about 3 miles from the Conductive Education Support Centre). The historic towns and cities of Bournemouth, Salisbury, Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth are all easily accessible from Brockenhurst. |
